About

Because of the advancement of online publishing practices, journalism is quickly changing. As a journalist you must learn to understand these new practices and become confident with the processes used to create multimedia online.

This course will provide students with the opportunity to experiment with new and innovative ways of telling stories that incorporate images, sound, video, text and audience participation on the Web.

Students are assumed to have a limited knowledge of digital media production but fortunately have the skills necessary to produce well-reported stories. The basics of storytelling do not change; only the execution differs.
